Mandy Torres
Mandy Torres is a Puerto Rican interdisciplinary artist and photographer raised in southern Louisiana. After the death of her partner in 2010, she began exploring the ways in which preservation through documentation impacts the concept of mortality. Her work acknowledges her relationship with the South through intimate friendships, intensity, and sexuality within Southern American youth.
