“In my paintings, I offer a still or a moment of ‘filtered chaos’ from daily life. The paintings are frozen moments of subconscious thoughts, memories, tasks at hand, information shown to us that we didn’t ask for, and any other distractions that may try to interrupt one’s daily trajectory.
I only seek to mirror our ability to process copious amounts of information within a very short amount of time. The amount of information continues to grow and will not stop. Technology, that which provides us all with so much readily available information than ever before, can be a double-edged sword. Our evolution in the way we deal with this is important.” — Alex Coronel
