Sebastian studied medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College before pivoting his career into art & design. Discovering 3D printing helped his career transition and unlocked a new world of making, from products to fine art furniture. In his final year of medical school, he created a neuroanatomy teaching model at the MakerLAB to demonstrate the complexity of visual pathway deficits using LED lights. His own art and design work is showcased under the moniker Voidfill Studio, where he combines 3D printing with various other fabrication techniques. He has designed several lamps, unconventional furniture pieces, and wearable electronics that have been showcased during NYCxDESIGN week.
