I am the small-town suburban daughter of a German father and a Mississippi mother who both understand computer programming far better than they do art. I grew up in a few different locations around the midwest, and now live and practice in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have been drawing my whole life, and discovered my love for oil painting during a high school art lesson. Since then, I continued to paint on my own, without instruction, to develop my art practice. I only began showing my work 2 years ago.
