“[‘Land Bones’] was inspired by Audre Lorde's essay 'Uses for the Erotic.’…I delve into the depths of my inner world and emotions, creating work that subtly reflects the stories and emotions of my life. Embracing the grotesque, I explore the mysterious realm of the psychological shadow, revealing vulnerability and rejecting shame. My paintings are rich in symbolism and narratives, expressing various conditions and states of the soul—manifestations of the forces I experience or witness.”
