Abieyuwa Eigbobo

Abieyuwa is a Nigerian-American multidisciplinary artist and curator, known for her innovative use of technology in exploring the nuanced experiences of Black women in today's society. Her artistic repertoire spans across various mediums, including photography, digital and analog video, and 3D modeling. In February of 2021, she ventured into the world of NFTs, pushing the boundaries of digital art. Abieyuwa's recent curatorial endeavor, the 'Paradise' exhibition, showcased the works of 22 remarkable Black women in commemoration of Women’s History Month. This exhibition gained international recognition, featured on CNN International's 'Inside Africa', and was hosted at the esteemed imnnotArt Gallery in Chicago.

Abieyuwa is an active member of prominent art communities including Cyberbaat DAO, Accelerate Art, and Friends With Benefits. She previously contributed her expertise to the operations team of the African NFT Community. Demonstrating her commitment to advancing digital art, Abieyuwa recently founded 'After Paradise', a pioneering art curation and events company with a focus on digital art. This innovative venture partnered with USURPA Gallery in Johannesburg for an impactful Women’s Month event in August 2023. The event featured the works of 27 talented African women artists, alongside enriching workshops and panel discussions.
