In a city, on the road or in the garden, creatures interact with a painted environment that is strange yet beautiful; threatening yet comforting. Narrative and technical contradictions join in a dance of anxiety and beauty.
Works in this collection are human-scale and created in a variety of techniques, including drawing, scraping, sanding, and – painting with a brush. Intended as a kind of “anti-AI” in that the content and techniques are not predictive, the paintings are best viewed in human space.
