Mini Fiber Art Tapestry Collection

Welcome to my virtual artisan studio showcasing unique artistry repurposing lost treasures of fiber and jewelry into fabulous works of art. Creative pieces are hand woven on an old fashion metal loom. Yarns are a variety of fibers, many natural one of a kind, some no longer produced. Integrated with yarns of cotton, wool, linen, mohair, faux furs, string yarns, flag yarn, ladder, ribbon, silks, rayon, polyester, velvet, chenille and anything unusual. Everything goes through a rigorous cleaning, winding into a ball, color sorted all to showcase the unique fibers that become an enchanting new tapestry. Jewelry pieces are found treasures that often become the inspiration for a tapestry. You may find a bracelet, pieces of jewelry taken apart and reworked, a pin or a whimsical accent all of high grade vintage jewelry finds. Items are cleaned with alcohol and refurbished to sparkle and enliven the artistry created. Treasures are found at local non profit thrift shop that supports the developmentally and intellectually challenged. New items created during the winter months when the snow falls outside the window and the fire keeps things toasty warm. Life in the high Rocky Mountains is different, cyclical, connected and natural all inspire the art offered. 

In 2025, this collection was showcased for the first time at Homestead Fine Art Gallery in Berthoud, Colorado. As I work through my boxes of vintage treasures~remember once these yarns are used up…these tapestries will no longer be produced! Collect one or more! each comes with authentication.
