In this hybrid (analog-digital-analog) painting from his Baroque series, Bahadori combines geometric color fields and free line drawings resembling etching techniques, generated by deformed perspectives, with classical Baroque art and architectural elements to create a unique contemporary style. The arrogant and rather innocent “Queen of Hearts” is detached and largely ignorant of her surroundings, fitting the second title “Out of Touch.” The artist piques viewers' interest by leaving a gap between the recognizable and the abstract.
