We often see surrendering as an act of weakness that can be taken advantage of. So we avoid it at all costs. We gather our armour tightly around us - presenting ourselves as strong, confident, empowered and capable. Thriving by striving.
Because we work so hard to preserve the illusion of being in control, letting go seems like too big a sacrifice. But as soon as we surrender to whatever is before us, we enter the flow of life. Which turns out to be a whole lot easier than resisting it.
