Yvette Grutter is a Mexican, Swiss, and American artist born in Mexico City. She received her Bachelor in Fine Arts from the UT at San Antonio, and currently has a studio at The Silos at Sawyer Yards in Houston, where she works and teaches paper-making workshops. 

Grutter has received many honors and scholarships, including an UNESCO sponsored artist residency in Valencia, Spain and a prestigious award from the Mexican government for conveying the Mexican culture and traditions.
