Statement

As a multi-disciplinary abstract artist, my visual journey extends beyond the boundaries of conventional representation. My work is my free flowing expression of the natural world around me, in conjunction with the infinite thoughts that occupy my mind. Ultimately, my art is a deep dive into the well of my imagination, and my effort to express the love and joy that lie within.

My inspiration is drawn from a dance between colors, textures, and forms found in every aspect of the world around me, as well as inside of me. Nature, emotions, and my experience serve as the foundation of my creativity, which guide me on my exploration into the known, and the unfamiliar. 

The core of my artistic belief is rooted in creating a space for a connection to be made between what I - the artist has created (the art) and the observer. In every brushstroke, I strive to express intangible emotions or concepts, and when I am thrilled with the outcome, I invite the outside world in: to experience my vision, to experience an emotion.

Each canvas is a conversation, a story of chaos and harmony, of spontaneity and careful deliberation, to which I hope each observer will bring their unique perspective and experiences, creating an ever-evolving narrative. It is never my intention to make a hard and fast statement, but to incite curiosity and invite introspection.

I surrender to the unpredictable nature of the creative process, and it is my hope that those who engage with my art find moments of introspection, connection, and inspiration. As I continue to evolve as an abstract artist, I am driven by the need to push my personal boundaries, challenge my perceptions, and invite a shared exploration of the beauty I share from within.
