MessageStatement
As a multi-disciplinary abstract artist, my visual journey extends beyond the boundaries of conventional representation. My work is a free flowing expression of the natural world around me, in conjunction with the infinite thoughts that occupy mind and my internal imagination. My digital work seamlessly fuses technology with that artistic expression, while my photography allows me to capture the immeasurable beauty of the world in real time. Together, the two mediums bring fresh images and ideas to the physical canvas.
My inspiration is drawn from a dance between colors, textures, and forms found in every aspects of the world around me. Nature, emotions, and the human experience serve as the foundation of my creativity, which guide me on my exploration into the unknown, or the unfamiliar.
The core of my artistic belief is rooted in creating a space for a connection to be made between the artist, the art, and ultimately, the observer. In every brushstroke, I strive to express a sometimes intangible emotion or concept, and when I am thrilled with the outcome, I invite the outside world in to experience my vision. To experience an emotion.
Each canvas is a conversation, a story of chaos and harmony, of spontaneity and careful deliberation, to which each observer will bring their unique perspective, experiences, creating an ever-evolving narrative. My intention is never to make a hard and fast statement, but to incite curiosity and invite introspection.
