The Stranger Fruit...the women who watched. Suffered in silence as they watched their loved ones become fruit of the tree, while becoming the stranger fruit left behind. Becoming those that are misunderstood and their pain neglected and ignored. The understanding that the strength it took to survive and still grow.

And we wonder where that strength comes from. "We" are the stranger fruit.
