Yolanda Patton, ThaSun, is an Artist from Oakland California, known for her Artistry that provides an elegant focus on the well being and beauty of women first, but also for all people in general. She uses the life experiences of those close to her and that of her own to create each piece which is a part of her soul. While using Acrylic paints on canvas, Watercolors, burning tools on wood and in some cases tile and glass, she explores the in-between of Perfect and Perfectly Flawed. Yolanda's work is a journey that includes self love and the expression to invite others to find, explore and love their own internal and external Beauty because most of her work remains faceless, so you can see your own reflection. Her work has been featured in East Bay Artist 2021, Art of the African Diaspora / Richmond CA., Studio 23, Ethnic Notions, Vin En Noir Tasting Bar, SFWA Gallery, along with a Mural in Alameda CA. at the Living Garden. She has also be a participating vendor for many years all over the Bay Area and that is just a small glimpse on where she has been sharing art.
