In the middle of nowhere in Arkansas, US countryside is the small city and large campus of Subiaco. I hadn't been there, and I was doing my usual scan for barns and other interesting things to photograph along the way when I came across the mother of all barns. So I stopped to find the owner to ask if I could photograph it as it was set inside the property. Then I came across a set of buildings of which this was one that showed their age. It wasn't until I continued on that I realized I had reached the Subiaco Academy and the Church. This building which wasn't included in the tour but I was allowed to walk about to take photos of this and their 1904 barn that was part of the original community. I don't know if this was the original church or a schoolhouse, but its setting next to a big oak and a small vineyard and its texture and age were what I found interesting. These places always give my imagination room to explore.
