Cosmos

Cosmos is the world of painter Leonid Afremov from which his estate's permission I created my own universe of planetary figures. The original painting was his. However, the shades, shadows, shapes, and stains are mine. This was the first in what became my Colorful Geometric Abstraction series in which I digitally manipulated photographs or in this case and others photographs of paintings, including rudimentary ones of my own.

Cosmos has won two Best in Shows and Finalist with NY exhibit in international competitions.
