Around 12 am on September 19, 2024, this brick was used to break into a gallery. The thieves took electronics and Halloween candy.
In November of 2024, Donald Trump, a convicted felon, was elected President and has broken nearly every norm, principle, and any kind of peaceful legacy left in the American presidency, or our Federal Government, since he took office.
In 2025, there were the L.A. Fires, that have forced so many people and families to rebuild, while revealing decades of low investment and oversight for city infrastructure in the wake.
Recently, I learned about a terrible, multi-fatal accident that happened in Kansas City in 1981 when a construction company failed to use the right tension rods for suspended pedestrian bridges; due to economic pressures, the project had little oversight. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyatt_Regency_walkway_collapse
