WRA embraces students with all cultural backgrounds. This collection celebrates arts that are inspired by the Asian culture.

Charlie is a prolific artist. In Art I this semester she has filled 3 sketchbooks with drawings, ideas, and planning. Her creative mind is constantly coming up with ideas. Charlie is skilled in drawing, and painting, and is passionate about art and committed to learning everything she can to meet her own high standards for excellence.

Mrs. Mittal nominated Lucy Li '23 as the Artist of December 2022: "Lucy consistently looks for unique images. Whether she is finding her subjects in nature, or carefully arranging them in the studio, she approaches her photographs like she is composing visual poetry. Nothing within the frame is ever accidental. Lucy's thoughtful approach to her work, and her willingness to consistently carry through with her artistic vision earn her the Artist of the Month nomination for December 2022."

"Maya is a dedicated and engaged Ceramics student, who has, over the past semester and a half, continued to push herself to do new and exciting work. Her attention to realistic detail and her mastery of that detail in the fussy medium of clay, is exciting to watch. Maya continually pushes her comfort zone and is open and willing to try new things. She takes guidance and suggestion and runs with it, producing high quality, beautiful pieces. I can't wait to see what else she comes up with over the next couple of years in the studio!" - Ms. Bayliss

Addien (Addie) Lewis is always creating. Always finding new ways to explore mediums and methods. Her passion for art is unreal. Multiple sketchbooks full of ideas, paintings, mixed media and writing. Recently Addie's entered 4 pieces into Scholastic Art Awards and earned 2 honorable mentions and a Gold and Silver Key Award. She is completely engrossed in the world of art and continues to push the limits of her creativity! It should be no surprise Addie Lewis is up for the Artist of the Month.
