Artist statement
Recollecting silent gathering places and the detritus that remains after everyone leaves; “Come Back To Me Now” refers back to the height of the pandemic when the streets were empty and loneliness pervaded the world. But nothing lasts forever. Change always comes. The dark artwork is juxtaposed with a Day-Glo perspex frame that surrounds the silver phosphorescence within and promises hope of better days. After dark, comes the light.
