Sara Freeman is a painter, long inspired by landscapes, infinity and the subtleties of shifting light. She works in egg tempera and beeswax to create large subtle fields of colour and texture that resonate with the slow meditative process of their making.

Sara currently lives and paints on the far south coast of NSW and works occasionally as a conservator. Sara was recently awarded an honourable mention in the Paddington Art Prize and has been a finalist in many National art awards such as John Leslie Landscape prize, The Blake and The Alice prize.
