In the late 1950's, Theresa Pollak began her experiment with abstraction when she began studying with renowned painter, Hans Hoffman. Pollak's use of vibrant colors in this landscape of Capon Springs Pennsylvania stands in stark contrast to the academic realism utilized in her earlier work.
