Heading Towards Eternity is a visual hymn inspired by the Emmylou Harris song, The Pearl. Painted during a period of grief, the music’s soaring melody and searching lyrics became a companion in the studio. The work is both a tribute to a loved one gone and a meditation—a bold, energetic depiction of the journey we all must eventually take.

Celebrating a flight into freedom, a joyful letting go into the unknown, the painting pulses with color and motion and a sense of release. It invites viewers to feel the promise of transcendence and the grace of moving forward with courage and hope.
