Recently, Portland artist W.S. Cranmore chose 25 paintings from his collection that best reflect his artistic vision. The selections, ranging from 2017 to 2024, were made based on composition, execution, and emotional resonance. This series was created in the first half of 2024. Each painting is 14x11”, acrylic and sometimes charcoal on black paper. The idea was to experiment with different tools and techniques that would create new visuals not usually seen in my previous works.
