Fumio Yoshimura's carved lindenwood sculptures are masterful representations of everyday objects—such as this intricately detailed hot dog cart. A renowned 20th-century Japanese-American sculptor, Yoshimura focuses on subjects related to human activity in his creations. In this skillful carving, the artist transforms an urban street icon into an ethereal wooden form.
