Statement

I am an artist who like many others want to show how I see the world. The medium I mainly work with is called scratchboard. It is a substrate with a layer of kaolin clay and then covered with black India ink. Different tools are used to remove the ink revealing the clay beneath. Color can then be added or left as a black and white piece of art. I hope you enjoy my art as much as I enjoyed making it.
