Vera Gutkina was born in Moscow and immigrated to Israel in 1982. She settled in Jerusalem where she lived until her death at the age of 69. Gutkina studied painting with the renowned artist Vladimir Shtranikh, a student of the great Russian painter Konstantin Korovin. 

Here you’ll find a growing archive of her paintings, drawings, writings, exhibitions, and biographical materials. Our aim is to make her legacy accessible to curators, collectors, museums and all who are drawn to her distinctive visual language and creative vision.

Created and maintained by Vera Gutkina’s family, friends, and collaborators, this site reflects our shared commitment to bringing her work into new spaces and conversations. Art was Gutkina’s lifelong passion — a force she pursued with urgency and devotion.
