Truth, by its very nature, carries the inevitability of turbulence. Whether it’s the one telling it or the one hearing it, both the teller and the listener feel a deep trepidation in the moment of revelation. For the teller, the Truth is a release—a necessary letting go that must occur in order for the inner storm to subside. For the listener, however, the Truth often acts as the catalyst for turbulence, stirring emotions and challenging perceptions.
In this moment of listening, however, there is an opportunity for peace. By striving to hear the words themselves, and not the emotions they evoke, the turbulence can be quelled. Both the teller and listener must seek neutrality—a calm within their hearts and minds that allows them to hear the Truth clearly. In this space, where emotion is set aside, a new clarity emerges. It is here, in this shared stillness, that the deeper Love within the Truth can be fully heard, allowing the turbulence to dissolve and leaving space for understanding and connection.
