Sunset in Blount County was another painting that was in my senior show at Belhaven University. This painting was inspired by a photo I took while driving home from work last summer. I live in rural Alabama and this painting was inspired by the many fields that are used for soybeans, peanuts, and cotton. This painting is also on one of my masonite panels I made and I really enjoyed painting this. I love the muted colors I was able to make in the sky and grass. I was really pleased with the front grass I did with a small long flat brush.
