It wasn't the best time in my life but it became one of them.
I've been married to the love of my life for over 30 years.

But he wasn't my first husband.
I got married right out of college and divorced not long after.
What could have been a sad time became a joyful one,
thanks to being lifted by energy and support of friends and family.
And, someone close introduced me to my "real" husband.
I think of this around our anniversary - that I am grateful for having been lifted.
