This free-brush artwork is an Ume abbreviation of the word ‘Suffering,’ composed of a Petsug script style from Golok, in East Tibet.

Below, I have calligraphed a line from The Four Immeasurables Prayer which reads:
“May all sentient beings be free from suffering and the causes of suffering!”
