The urn contains the shattered remains of the vessel that initially inspired the artist's "weight project."

This Hybrid Vessel is the cumulative result of the artist's "weight project" and "digital vessel", made as part of a research thesis entitled "A Shadow of Craft: Making and Materiality in a Digital Era."

The vessel was designed using a combination of generative AI (Style GAN), analogue sketching and observation, and 3D modeling, The master mold was 3D printed, which leaves behind a trace of its provenance in the surface of the porcelain.
