This assemblage vase is part of a modernist ceramic series I began in 2016 that emphasizes esthetics over functionality. Hidden in these sculptural vases is an English word. As an experiment in modernist ceramic sculpture that uses this word as parameters for the design, I hope you enjoy a pop culture approach to expression as it’s combined with the ancient trade of pottery.
