Pogled s Fortice, akril na papiru (pointilizam), 65 X 50 cm, Hvar, 2020. godina

Hvar je grad na istoimenom otoku koji ima bogatu povijest i važno je turističko odredište. Opisala bih ga kao grad iz bajke s predivnom prirodom i arhitekturom, te kristalno čistim morem u obližnjim uvalama Paklinskih otoka.

U starom dijelu grada Hvara, na brdu visine oko 100 m uzdiže se gradska tvrđava koju Hvarani tradicionalno zovu Fortica (Španjola) od koje se pruža prekrasan pogled na grad i obližnje otoke Hvara.

Na mojoj slici sam zabilježila jedan trenutak upravo s ove tvrđave prilikom obilaska dok sam ovdje ljetovala.

U gradu Hvaru je rođen i izumitelj daktiloskopije Ivan Vučetić, veliki čovjek o kojem se vrlo malo priča i zna, a koji mi je također bio inspiracija u mom kreativnom stvaralaštvu, ali o tome u nekom sljedećem postu USKORO ! 😍

Hvar is a town on the island of the same name that has a rich history and is an important tourist destination.
I would describe it as a city from a fairy tale with beautiful nature and architecture, and crystal clear seas in the nearby coves of the Paklinski Islands.

In the old part of the town of Hvar, on a hill about 100 m up, rises the town fortress, which the Hvar people traditionally call Fortica (Španjola), from which there
is a wonderful view of the town and the nearby islands of Hvar.

Ivan Vučetić, the inventor of dactyloscopy, was born in the town of Hvar, a great man about whom very little is known or talked about, and who was also an inspiration
in my creative work, but about that in a future post SOON! 😍
