Follicles is an ongoing series of small, primarily ink-based expressionist portrait drawings and sketches that started in 2022 - exploring the strangeness of hair, its vitality and important role within the body, and the ways in which the corporeal and the metaphysical intersect.

Liminal Bodies, started 2024, is an ongoing series of watercolors that aims to capture the fascinating idiosyncrasy of the human body through abstract depictions. No real life models are involved. Precedent is given to those bodies that exist (in the artist's mind) on the verge, however "the verge" may be interpreted. The relative quickness with which these images are completed (usually in under 30 minutes) is key to their inclusion in this series; above all, they are informed by spontaneity, irregularity, and fragility, and shaped with the knowledge that some things cannot be truly replicated.
