Two paintings from this mornings wanderings up along the Ocoee River.
I almost thought I had handicapped myself right from the get go. I must have overlooked packing my tube of ultramarine blue (a mainstay on my palette) and had just the little bit that was leftover on my palette from previous painting session. It got me through my first painting, but for the second one on Goforth Creek, I had to use my secondary blue, which is Cerulean. It's weaker and cooler than Ultramarine, but I made do...pretty well, actually.
