Drove up along the Foothills Parkway today hoping to paint a mountain vista, but it was incredibly windy and hazy. Decided to go into Townsend, TN. and the GSMNP entrance there.
The Middle Prong of the Little River is right along the road and is a popular swimming hole. As the temps were approaching 90’s, a dip didn’t sound bad, but I was on a mission to paint and get back home to pick my kids up from band practice.
