Miguel Flores, Jr. conducted healing ceremonies and other services as a medicine man in the Tohono O'odham and Pascua Yaqui traditions. He is also an artist who had a studio on 6th St near 4th Ave, where this work was painted. Miguel created this painting with Martin Quintanilla and raffled it to raise money for one of his other endeavors--helping troubled Native American youth by mentoring them in the outlet of expressive arts--painting in particular.
