De-confinement. There is a whole world outside. Are you ready for it? Many of us have been in isolation alone. Some of us have retreated in a room alone with not much interaction with another human being. We reminiscent on past memories; we idealize past situations, places and events. The events of COVID-19 and our isolation could result in anxiety and agoraphobia. What is going on outside our window? The view from the artist studio window peeks through buildings, terraces, balconies that were all empty during confinement. She imagined the people who didn't come in contact with other human beings. This piece has been created during the pandemic and her time alone in the studio. The materials used were collected through what was available in the studio, uncommon materials, found objects, not your typical art supplies: Ceramic acrylic and resin on corrugated cardboard. 3D wall sculpture.
