Throughline was created through chaotic, intuitive selections of discarded fabrics to reflect on the beauty, fragility, and disorder of our interconnected lives. Composed of 100 collaged textile and paper panels, the piece is held together by continuous thread—both literal and metaphorical—serving as a visual and emotional throughline. It weaves together individual stories, cultures, and emotional landscapes along a symbolic path that evokes migration routes, neural networks, and global ties. Each fragment holds stories of origin, loss, and renewal. In an era fractured by climate collapse, overconsumption, and division, this work seeks to rethread a sense of shared belonging.
