Statement
As a multidisciplinary artist, I'm driven by the thrill of unpredictability and the vibrant energy of mixed media. My work serves as a dynamic exploration of contemporary issues, drawing from painting, glass, and collage to illuminate the interconnectedness of our world.
Inspired by the colors and vibrancy of nature, I passionately delve into themes such as climate crisis, endangered species, and the impact of human behavior on the environment. Through a blend of graphic and expressive styles, my art is emotionally charged, aiming to shed light on contemporary global issues impacting biodiversity.
My creative process is underpinned by automatism, serving as the initial conduit for ideas to gradually materialize, evolving through successive layers of my artwork. Working spontaneously on a large scale, I merge minute detail with larger expressive sections, creating an ebb and flow that aims to draw viewers into a dialogue with my art.
Each piece begins with random markings and colors, evolving into intricate forms and compositions. With my trained knowledge of art principles, I seek to craft unique pieces that seek to engage and challenge the viewer. My art is a reflection of the beauty and complexity of the world around us, a call to action to protect our planet for future generations, and a beacon of hope amidst the challenges we face.
