This piece was inspired by a quote by author John C. Maxwell “It takes no courage to be an optimist, but it takes a great deal of courage to have hope.”
I traveled through time to explore past memories to try to understand why I continue to be an optimist. I discovered that courage is the strong fiber connecting my life events, and that structure and variety symbolized through geometry, color and symbolism provide the framework in which it exists.
