Tina Alberni
Alberni is a semi-abstract, phygital artist. Layers of ideas, shapes, vibrant colors and symbolism coalesce in response to present day global imbalances.
MessageI am inspired by human courage and resilience across the globe. So many people facing adversity are determined to pick up the pieces and move forward after experiencing loss from natural disasters. It is inspiring!
Here, I deal with the sudden loss of heritage that can happen after a natural disaster.
Actual things lost forever that connected with our culture and upbringing. The things we possibly identified with.
This piece celebrates the idea that in the end, detachment may b a good thing. Loss of material things actually opens new opportunities to pass on memories and traditions of our heritage instead.
Work includes a simple white frame with glass, ready to hang.
