Tina Alberni
Alberni is a semi-abstract, phygital artist. Layers of ideas, shapes, vibrant colors and symbolism coalesce in response to present day global imbalances.
MessageShining a light on opossums, the only marsupial north of Mexico.
The more opossums in your yard, the fewer ticks! Not only do they help avoid the spread of Lyme disease, but they will also eat roaches, rats, and other smaller dead animals. They will keep your yard free of pests!
Did you know that when they get scared, which is almost from anything, they can't help but play dead. That's why so many get run over( and they usually are carrying lots of babies!) Keep your eyes peeled when driving so they stop ending their lives as road kill.
Vibrant colors infuse a sense of optimism, reflecting hope rather than a depiction of despair.
The final process of completing my work often involves meticulously organizing symbols that intersect cultures, objects, and events. Here, I strive to convey balance and coexistence within the artwork and within myself. It is a symbolic journey I embark on to distill the complexities of our world into a hopeful narrative that celebrates harmony and connection.
The symbols in this painting are organized in the tree barks, the threatened habitat.
