In 2017 I was pulled to create my own artwork, but it was unsure and most of what I created was in my personal journal. In 2018 I started stealing 30 minutes here and there to paint, and eventually invested in online lessons and started prioritizing my artistic life. These artworks, created betwen 2017 and early 2024, are part of my Becoming an Artist series. These are varied in subject, style, and medium as I chased opportunities and ideas. Some are finished artworks but many are studies, although I treated them as artworks at the time. Some of these artworks are available as prints and cards.
