"The Notch" Smuggler's Notch to be exact, in Vermont has been the subject of a number of paintings of mine. No doubt more in the future. This particular scene is from the new boardwalk along the Long Trail just above the Stowe Mountain Resort. Great views along and over some beaver ponds create a lot of possibilities for this spot. Easy access is a nice bonus.
