A classic, the covered bridge in Vermont is always fun to paint. Except perhaps when the cold sets in and the wind kicks up. This piece was started outdoors, 'en plein air' and then completed in the studio. Working the final layers and details in the warmth of the studio definitely improved this painting, but the value of getting it three quarters of the way done on site can't be overstated.
