This piece of folk art was purchased at a garage sale in Berkeley. It's a modified jack-in-the-box featuring a sculpted black fist wrapped in the American flag. The exterior of the box is collaged with clippings and photographs featuring various subjects of the era: the war, Nixon and Agnew, etc.
