Lauren Ruiz is a Latina research-based multimedia artist based in New York. She has presented her research projects at the Latvian National Museum of Art, the University of Applied Arts Vienna, UC Santa Barbara, UC Berkeley, the College Art Associ- ation Conference, and the Association for Art History Conference. Ruiz has completed residencies at the Santa Fe Art Institute, Vermont Studio Center, Art Ayatana, and the Guerrilla Science ArtSci Residency. She is represented by Marquee Projects in Bellport, NY.
