"Thirty-six Views of Japanese art," guest curated by Dr. Brett M. Van Hoesen, draws from an alluring selection of the never-before-exhibited permanent collection of Japanese woodblock prints at The Lilley Museum of Art. The exhibit also features Japanese baskets, ceramics, and other mixed media objects form reginal, private collections as well as "response work" from contemporary artists. Organized into six themes - Landscapes, Animals, Human Emotions & Identity, Text & Image, Art of the Everyday, and Expanded Knowledge.
