Item description: Transfer by the Provincial Court of Friesland in Leeuwarden of two prisoners to the military judge, 12 January 1753. The prisoners are led away by a military escort under great public interest. On the right in front of the Chancellery a scaffold and gallows.
Text: Het Hof Provintiael in Vriesland geeft twee Gevangenen over aen den Militairen Rechter, na de Vernietiging van't Recht van Præventie (The Provincial Court in Friesland hands over two prisoners to the Military Judge, after the destruction of the right of prevention).
